The paintings are done as individual works in the early 1970s for exhibitions in Jysk Kunstgalerie, led by Svend Hansen.
The series was collected and hung at Viborg Nursing School soon after Poul Gernes’ death in 1996 in conjunction with the completion of the decoration.
