- Poul Gernes created this stripe series in 1966 and first exhibited it the following year at Ung Dansk Kunsts Jubilæumsudstilling at Louisiana where it was installed in the museum's park with other stribe paintings. The work that was installed at Copenhagen Contemporary was a copy made to be displayed outdoors for documenta XII in 2007 in Kassel. It was since exhibited outside Malmö Konsthall in 2011, on the facade of Artipelag in 2013 and in the park in front of SMK in 2015, before ending its days at Copenhagen Contemporary in 2024.
