Architect Uffe Henriksen was the intermediary in the commissioning of Poul Gernes to set the colour scheme and decorate the research centre’s new administration building. The hard concrete architecture was softened by gentle colour fields high up on the walls and large forms of stylized tulips further down. The decoration was done on sound absorbing Rockfon plates.
